Our representative picks you up at the airport and takes you to your hotel. In the evening, join a city tour. See the Reunification Palace, where the Vietnam War ended in 1975, and the colonial Central Post Office. Walk along Nguyen Hue Street, past the Opera House and Ho Chi Minh Committee, and finish at Ben Thanh Market.

Drive to the Mekong Delta and board a boat on the river. Stop at one of the four islands, where locals row you along narrow canals under water coconut trees. Visit local workshops, then take a horse-cart ride through the village. On the way back to Saigon, stop at Vinh Trang Pagoda, which blends Chinese, Cambodian and French styles.

After breakfast, drive to the Cu Chi Tunnels and crawl through part of the underground network. Return to Saigon, and spend the evening shopping at Ben Thanh Market, Saigon Square, An Dong Plaza or Diamond Plaza.
